After its Irish premier earlier this year at the Galway Film Fleadh SOUTH is about to hit Indie Cork and the Fingal Film Festival.

Produced by Bankhouse Productions and Directed by Gerard Walsh who directed his acclaimed first feature ‘A Day Like Today’ which also premiered at Indie Cork in 2014. Selling out at this years Galway Film Fleadh in a matter of hours we hope no one is disappointed this time around.
SOUTH tells the story of Tom, a young man struggling with the recent death of his father. After finding a note from his estranged mother he decides to journey cross country to try and find her. Throughout this journey Tom tries to overcome his crippling stage fright as a musician and along the way meets Jess, a free spirited young woman that captivates his mind and heart.
“It’s really exciting and rewarding to see “SOUTH” being accepted into festivals like Galway Film Fleadh, Indiecork and Fingal. Hopefully it’s just the start of it’s journey.” – Darragh O’Toole who plays Tom.
We are in very good company this year with ‘Cardboard Gangsters’, Dir. Mark O’Connor, ‘Twice Shy’ Dir. Tom Ryan and ‘Shoebox Memories’, Dir. Jason Branagan to name a few
